Coming home despite easyJet best attempts to delay

Coming home via Air Berlin wasn't an option today - the flight time from Stansted to Belfast City is too early to get any work done in-between arriving and departing.

So the return leg was via easyJet.

The flight looked on time, until the dispatcher didn't turn up to empty the incoming flight, and no one arrived to help the stranded wheelchair passenger off the plane and into the terminal.

So we sat and stood around Gate 87 while orange-bloused staff complained, faffed and talked on the phone. Eventually "Ben" arrived to bring some order to the chaos - he got though to the Swissport wheelchair pushers on the phone, went down to see if he could board the plane in the absence of a proper dispatcher .... and after 15 minutes we were allowed to board.

Ben made a difference - rather than complaining, he fixed the problems, or worked around them. The airport needs more Bens.

Now just to get a taxi back to pick up my car from the other airport - the George Best one.
