It was just a little disconcerting to see that the in-flight map displayed on the head rest of our British Airways flight back from San Francisco thought that Stansted was a south London airport.
(For anyone who’s not in the know, what the map labels as Stansted should really be London Gatwick airport.)

I think you'll find that the point marked as Stansted is a fair way away from Gatwick (which is located just left of the where the 'S' of Stansted is written).
In fact, the location marked on the map is a village called Stansted (in Kent).
Therefore, considering there is no mention of 'Airport' in the label, it would be fair to say that the map shown on your flight is, in fact, correct!
