If you’re at a loss for something to do this weekend then here’s a suggestion.
Pop down to Crawfordsburn Country park and soak in the delights of the Autumn Festival running on Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 5pm. Admission is free.
Organised by the Environment and Heritage Service, their website’s blurb suggests:
“Send your senses into overlaod [sic] with the rich aromas, colours and tastes of the autumn season. Displays and fresh produce on sale, refreshments available. Entertainment and fun for all the family.”
And the Apple Festival that we enjoyed last year will be across in the Peatlands Park next weekend (10am to 5pm on Sat 20 and Sun 21) - a very enjoyable event when it was over at Crawfordsburn last year.
You can find details of all EHSNI events in their leaflet.
