top hats = top buns

A birthday party wouldn't be complete without top hats. After a year of anticipation, Littl'un turns four on Monday, and this morning she partied with a couple of friends from nursery.

Amen to that!!! I had a load of marshmallows left after youth group on week (quite a surprise!!!!!! usually everything is devoured!) so I made some top hats - I had thought of 15s but the top hats won out.

My nephew, who lives in Dublin with my sister and her husband, had his second birthday recently. My mother made top hats for the kids along with all the 'proper' food for the adults. The folk down south had never heard of them before, and needless to say, the top hats were polished off before any of the adult food was...

I'm from the south, and I've heard of top hats. Even eaten them at parties in the afternoon. They are indeed top buns. Happy birthday to your LO
