Belfast Apple Store confirmed as unit UG5 in Victoria Square

The unit (UG5) to be occupied by Belfast Apple Store in Victoria Square

Update - review of the opening.

Update - opens Saturday 20 September at 9am

Next instalment of the long-running (yet inconsequential!) saga of where’s the Belfast Apple Store going to be in Victoria Square?

It really doesn’t matter, and I really don’t care. But a serious number of folk hit Apple-related posts on this blog every day, either searching for jobs or the Belfast store.

So HT to Brian and Geoff for noticing the activity around unit UG5, and the nice people at Victoria Square this morning for confirming the suspicion that this would indeed be the site for Apple’s temple of glass, aluminium and white plastic in Belfast.

Any bets on Belfast getting a bespoke spiral glass staircase?

Heheh, you old tart Alan! How about a series of posts on Granny Smiths, French Jonagold and Royal Gala to boost those stats sneakily?

Still, nice to see a store arriving in Victoria Square that I might actually want to go into (other than House of Fraser). Now any chance of a Borders?
